Bihrle Applied Research LAMP Facility
The Bihrle facility is located in the gemütlich, picturesque Danube valley of Bavaria, close to Munich, Nuremberg, and other historic and scenic areas of Germany and central Europe. Neuburg features an historic old town and castle perched on a hill overlooking the
Danube (Donau) River.

To travel to the LAMP facility from Munich Airport, you will exit the airport by following the signs to Munich (München), which will put you on Autobahn #92, which you will take to Autobahn #9. You will take Autobahn 9 north, toward Nuremberg (Nürnberg). Stay on Autobahn 9
until the Manching exit. At the end of the exit, turn left and follow the signs to Neuburg a.d.Donau (the road you are on, Route 16, will take you directly to Neuburg).

Shortly before arriving in Neuburg proper, you will need to turn right at the first traffic light you will encounter since leaving the Autobahn. You will then turn left at Grünau Straße. The next right turn is Spreestraße, and the LAMP facility is about half way down
the street on the right hand side.
