Comprehensive Simulation and Flight Test Analysis and Plotting Interface
Because of the importance of flight parameter visualization, D-Six provides it's users with very comprehensive plotting and analysis tools. One of the key plot interfaces, the simulation / flight plot interface, allows the user to immediately plot the current or any of the previously
retained simulation runs (D-Six allows the user to retain an unlimited number of flights in local memory for comparative purposes).
This highly flexible plot interface enables the user to build and retain on the desktop an unlimited number of plot templates, to which any of the local
flights (or imported flights) can be applied. This capability allows the user to build a number of plot styles with the data presentation configured to his requirements (i.e., 1. basic simulation angles and rates, 2. simulation roll coefficients, 3. simulation pitch coefficients, etc.)and he can apply the desired dataset to the template.

The template can be saved and reloaded, and the user can keep multiple plot template windows open on the desktop. Flight test data can be imported and plotted, and the user has the option of mapping the flight variables to the
corresponding simulation variables prior to plotting (for se with same templates that are used for the simulation data), or plotting the flight data directly, retaining the flight data naming conventions. Obviously, wide ranges of sim-to-sim and sim-to-flight comparisons are easily
configured.

The plotting interface is highly configurable, allowing the user to build a wide variety of analysis and presentation plots. Up to 16 plot frames can be dynamically specified with a single plot window, and each plot frame may present numerous signals. The frames themselves can be
manipulated and positioned within the plot window as desired by the user, and numerous plot types, labels and configuration variables are available for customization. Comprehensive user interfaces are provided for control over all the plotting parameters. These settings are retained in
a saved plot template, so future configuration would not be required.
